Established in 1999 in Richmond, Virginia, USA by President and CEO David H. Redmond, Carolina Tobacco Company is a privately held, independent manufacturer of class A, price-value cigarettes. Our niche is premium-brand, adult smokers in the discount tobacco market. We have grown to become one of the largest price-value manufacturers, distributing products in the United States.

In July 2005, we moved our operations from a small town in South Africa to a $10 million, state-of-the-art factory in Johannesburg, South Africa. 

The move to the new factory was well planned and executed, resulting in improved packaging quality and upgraded printing capabilities for packs, cartons and master shipping cases.

Also, we quickly began renovations that more than doubled our production capacity. The expansion was complete in April 2006. The increase allows us to satisfy the growing demand for our ROGER® and KINGSBORO® brand products and expands our ability to pursue other opportunities.

Our products are in stock and ready to ship from our U.S. warehouse locations in Baltimore, Maryland and Springfield, Missouri. We receive regular shipments each week, providing fresh products and timely delivery to our customers.
